The project

A research-led campaign that uses poetry, cultural memory and animation to confront forced displacement and preserve the language of belonging.

01 / The challenge

Turn a complex history into a human story.

The subject carries political, legal, historical and emotional weight. The work needed to make that complexity accessible without reducing it to statistics or losing the people at its centre.

02 / The idea

Memory becomes a form of resistance.

The campaign brings resistant thought into a contemporary visual language. Poetry, heritage and lived memory become tools that keep identity present across generations.

03 / The concept

One witness carries the land with him.

An old man moves through seven chapters of displacement. The key, the olive tree, the road and the soil return as visual anchors. His journey connects home, exile, loss and the refusal to disappear.

04 / The solution

One system across posters and film.

The social campaign and animation share the same visual grammar. Red signals refusal and urgency. Earth tones carry memory. Roots, shadows and hand-made textures connect every frame to the land.

The outcome

A complete campaign system and a 2:15 short animation film developed from research and concept through final execution under Ice Peak Studio.

01 / Campaign system

One word.
A continuing refusal.

The poster series turns selected ideas about homeland, roots, memory and survival into direct social messages. Each composition works independently while remaining part of the same visual campaign.

02 / Visual development

Earth.
Shadow.
Red.

The painterly frame language creates distance from literal reportage while keeping the experience tactile and human. Warm earth, charcoal shadow and controlled red accents hold the poster campaign and film inside one world.

Memory returns through touch, smell and the weight of land.

07Return

The old man falls, but a new olive sprout breaks through.
