The visual idea

A miniature industrial world turns the film’s panda into something assembled, tested and moved along a production line. Drawn surfaces, cut-out elements and mechanical transitions give the titles a tactile identity of their own.

01 / The challenge

Open a feature film without giving its world away.

The title sequence needed to introduce the film’s playful transformation and manufacturing themes while carrying cast and crew credits as part of the action rather than placing them over unrelated imagery.

02 / The concept

A panda on the assembly line.

The sequence imagines the character passing through an eccentric factory. Each station adds another layer to the panda and reveals another piece of the title narrative.

03 / The solution

Make every credit part of the machinery.

Industrial components, illustrated environments and character pieces are animated as one connected system. The movement of belts, tools and mechanical arms carries the eye from one credit to the next.

04 / Why this style

Handmade character inside a manufactured world.

The contrast between imperfect drawn textures and precise assembly-line motion reflects the film’s world of toys, production and identity. It keeps the sequence cinematic while preserving a playful human touch.

The outcome

An illustrated cinematic opening that introduces the film through its own visual world, turning production design, animation and credits into a single continuous sequence.
